Will do well in just about any room. Overly sunny or warm windows should be avoided.

Tolerates low sunlight, but will grow faster in bright, indirect sunlight.

Water Amount

Water when soil has completely dried out. Water moderately but infrequently and occasionally mist the leaves.


Does well at room temperature between 60°F - 77°F. Cold temperatures should be avoided.

Humidity Tolerance

Prefers higher levels of humidity, around 75% or above.

Repotting Needs

Repot after about one year.

Unhealthy Plant

Yellowing leaves may be a sign of overwatering or a lack of nutrients. Brown spots on the leaves may be a sign of too much sun.
